Starting computer and opening paint

Objectives: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• switch on the computer
• use paint software.

• Desktop computer with
MS paint software - 1 No.
PROCEDURE

TASK 1: Switching on computer

1 Plug in the computer and turn on the power supply. 4 Wait for the welcome screen to appear. (Fig 4)

5 Enter your username and password (Fig 5)
2 Turn on the CPU (Central Processing Unit).(Fig 2)

6 The desktop will appear, which is the first screen that
appears after starting the computer (Fig 6)
